Volunteers are the lifeblood of our mentoring programs. Volunteers provide the Little Moments that make Big Magic in the lives of our children. We are always in need of volunteers and have many opportunities for you to participate. Join the BBBSCFL family and experience what it feels like to change the world one child at a time!

Become a Big

Volunteer your time by becoming a mentor to a child in need. You will receive the full support of BBBSCFL’s professionally trained staff and a network of friends and family throughout the BBBS national organization. The cost is little to you, but the payoff is tremendous! You’ll reap the rewards of knowing the smile on your Little’s face was put there, in part, because of you. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment as you witness your Little say “no” to the neighborhood bully. Be part of something bigger than yourself – help a child achieve his/her greatest potential; help build a strong community and a greater America.

Support Activities

We are always looking for fun activities to offer our Bigs and Littles. You can help. Donate supplies for interactive activities, give time to help plan and facilitate outings, donate tickets to special events throughout the community. We’d love to hear your ideas!

Sponsor an Event

BBBSCFL hosts 4 major fundraising events throughout the year. These events generate a good portion of the funding required to meet the needs of our children. You can support any or all of these events by:

• Joining a planning committee
• Making a cash donation
• Asking your employer to serve as a corporate sponsor
• Providing in-kind goods or services
• Volunteering your time to help run the event

Serve as a Table Captain

Once you see and feel the impact our services have, we believe you will want to spread the word to your friends and colleagues. A great way to do this is by serving as a Table Captain at our annual donor appeal event. As a captain, you commit to filling a table with people interested in our mission and open to support opportunities.
