CEO: Jennifer Rider, MSEd email
Jennifer joined BBBSCFL in the summer of 2005. With over 13 years nonprofit management experience, she brings vast expertise to the Central Florida community. As a professional in children and family services in New York City, Jennifer was responsible for the development and management of child welfare programs, daycare, homeless services, foster care & adoption, mentoring, and 9-11 disaster response programming. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alfred University and a master of education & counseling psychology from the University of Southern California.

Director of Program Outreach & Development: Carolina DeGarmo email
Carolina was raised in Miami and attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Ms. DeGarmo moved to the Orlando area in 2000 and began a career with Florida Hospital Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine. She worked as a Case Manager for the Child Development Center while simultaneously worked on her graduate studies. Carolina earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University with a specialization in Mental Health and School Guidance Counseling. Ms. DeGarmo graduate practicum work was done in Tallahassee where she joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters family in August of 2005. Ms. DeGarmo is currently working as an Enrollment & Match Support Specialist with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida.

Enrollment & Match Support Specialist: Angela Florio email
Angela earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Rollins College with a research focus in Behavior Analysis. Since research was her primary focus as an undergraduate, she is looking to expand her knowledge through practical experience at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida. She joined the BBBSCFL team in September 2007 and is excited to help children in the community.

Match Support Specialist: Donnette Taylor email
Donette Taylor is originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica. She moved to Florida in 2006 after living in Oklahoma for 10 years. Donette graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Communications, and a Master’s in Human Relations. She worked for VisionQuest as a Treatment Family Advocate; Cleveland County Family YMCA as the Youth and Teen Director, then as an Intervention Specialist for Human Services Associates at PACE Center for Girls. Donette is currently working as a Match Support Specialist with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida. She is excited and feels blessed to be a part of such an amazing team.

Community-Based Enrollment and Match Support Specialist: Jennifer Williams email
Jennifer Williams is originally from Connecticut. She attended Western Connecticut State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She comes to BBBS with experience working with children in the foster care system. She worked for Department of Children and Families as a family services counselor when she first moved to Florida. Then, she worked as a Case Manager for emotionally disturbed children for 6 years at Children's Home Society. She has knowledge of the resources in the community and experience working with children and looks forward to making a difference at BBBS.
