All children can benefit from a consistent relationship with a caring friend. Let you child experience the Little Moments that make Big Magic in their lives.
Any child who meets the following criteria is eligible to participate.
Community-Based Mentoring:
- Be between the ages of 6-14
- Live in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard or Lake County
- Be able to develop a friendship with an adult
- Demonstrate a desire to have a Big Brother or Big Sister
- Have a parent or guardian who is cooperative and supportive of the program
- Be attending school
- Have access to a telephone
- Cannot have a current addictive problem with drugs or alcohol or be involved with the criminal justice system
School/Site Based Mentoring:
- Be between the ages of 6-18
- Live in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard or Lake County
- Attend school at a facility in which BBBSCFL provides a mentoring program
