CEO: Jennifer Rider, MSEd email
Jennifer Rider joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida as the Chief Executive Officer in 2005 with over 15 years experience of non-profit leadership; applying a strong expertise in data-driven strategic planning and performance-based management. Prior to joining BBBSCFL, Jennifer lead child welfare programs in New York City where she played an integral role in the transformation of the City's foster care & adoption system as well as family homeless service reform. Jennifer further served the needs of children by leading the disaster recovery and treatment programs for the World Trade Center's Permanency Project after the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Jennifer holds a Master of Science degree in Education & Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree from Alfred University. Jennifer was the 2009 Martin Bell Scholarship Award winner and is now working on her MBA at the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College.

Support Services Coordinator: Carolina DeGarmo, MA email
Carol joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters family early in 2006 as an intern and is currently serving Central Florida as the Support Services Coordinator. Carol has over eight years of experience working in the non-profit sector and with at-risk youth. Carol was raised in Miami and is fluent in the Spanish language. Carol attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Following her undergraduate studies, Carol earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University with a specialization in Mental Health and School Guidance Counseling.

Director of Program Operations: Percy Snyder, MSW email
Percy Snyder joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida in 2007 and is currently the Director of Program Operations. Percy has over nine years of experience working with children in need in the Central Florida community and has worked with Orange County Public Schools and the Department of Juvenile Justice in the past. Percy attended the University of Central Florida where he received a master's degree in Clinical Social Work and a graduate certificate in Children's Services. Percy has direct personal experience with the positive benefits of mentoring because he was a Little Brother in a mentoring program when he was a child.

Enrollment & Match Support Specialist: Brittany Jackson, BSW email
Brittany Jackson joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida team as an intern in Spring 2008. Upon graduating with a Bachelors degree in Social Work, she joined the team as a fulltime Enrollment and Match Support Specialist in the School Based Program. She is excited to have gained the opportunity to assist the children in the community and work with such a great team of devoted staff members.

Enrollment and Match Support Specialist: Michele O’Neil email
Michele joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida as a Big Sister in the School Based program in October 2009. Inspiration encouraged her to turn her passion for mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters into a career and in February 2010 she accepted a full time position as an Enrollment and Match Support Specialist. Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University and spent the next 9 years working as an elementary school teacher in Florida and Maryland. Michele continued her career in Washington D.C. working with children in at a federally funded mentoring program that provided mentoring scholarships to children with an incarcerated parent. Michele is thrilled to continue her service to children working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida!

Enrollment & Match Support Specialist: Molly Lovan email
Molly Lovan joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida in May of 2008 as an Enrollment & Match Support Specialist. Molly was born and raised in Rockledge, Florida and attended The University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Molly has served her hometown for several years now. She has previously worked at the Clerk of Courts as an Injunction Clerk. Also, she has worked with children and families for several years as a daycare worker and a camp counselor for Brevard County Parks and Recreation. In her leisure time she enjoys working out, playing the piano, photography, and going to the beach.

Match Support Specialist: Kathleen Miller email
Kathleen joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida in 2007 as a Student Intern. Upon graduating from UCF with a Bachelors Degree in Social work, Kathleen was hired by BBBSCFL and now serves as a part-time Match Support Specialist.

Kathleen is the mother of four and grandmother of eleven. She has been actively involved in community service work for over twenty-five years and brings tremendous skill & expertise to the BBBSCFL team. Kathleen is a Big Sister in the school-based program. She loves children and her commitment to them shows in everything she does!

Match Support Specialist: Kelley Fulgham email
Kelley earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida where she actively volunteered at a Domestic Abuse Shelter leading support groups for the children of Domestic Abuse. After graduation, Kelley continued to follow her passion which led her to work as a mentor at an emergency shelter for at risk teenage girls in foster care. She then moved in to administration at a non profit which in turn solidified her passion to work with children bringing her to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida. Kelley is very excited to see the “Magic” put in to the eyes of our children by YOU.

Accountant: Carol Hackett email
Carol is originally from Long Island, New York before moving to Florida in 1997. She is a graduate of Hofstra University with a BBA in Accounting. As a corporate accountant for over 25 years, Carol has been instrumental in designing and implementing several accounting systems and software packages, as well as, having been heavily involved in numerous year end and corporate audits. She has held several volunteer positions in Boys Scouts of America which encouraged her sons to complete their Eagle Scout Achievement. She is also a member of Neighborhood Watch and has been the Treasurer and Director on her Homeowners Association Board for several years. Carol joined BBBSCFL in October 2008 and hopes to utilize her extensive accounting and organization skills to assist the BBBSCFL team in achieving its goals.
