| Our Mission
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida is to help youth reach their greatest potential through professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships with measurable impact.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida realizes this mission by:
- providing youth ("Littles") with a consistent, ongoing, supportive,
educational, safe and fun adult friendship,
- supplying mentors ("Bigs") with the resources and support they need to
become effective mentors to at-risk youth, and
- enhancing the ongoing relationship ("Match") between a Big and a Little
with intentional activities and asset-building opportunities.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a quality, adult volunteer mentor to every Central Florida child who wants or needs one. Through mentoring services, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida assist youth in achieving their highest potential as they grow up to become responsible, productive, happy, and healthy young men and women.
