Agency History
BBBSCFL is a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and has been providing needed mentoring services to children of Central Florida since 1973. In August 2003, two affiliate Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in the Central Florida area merged to form what is now known as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida. This combined and enhanced agency has the resources and ability to provide comprehensive services to children in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Brevard Counties.
Agency Purpose
BBBSCFL makes a difference in the lives of our children and our community. Through trusted one-to-one mentoring relationships, in the community and in our schools, BBBSCFL is able to provide needed attention and support to at-risk children or children in need of a little more personalized attention. Mentoring relationships enhance a child's overall well-being by improving their emotional, social, and educational development.
